midPhase is one of the fast growing new hosting companies, it joined the race by offering huge amount of web space and bandwidth, started from 500MB when other top ones ( iPowerWeb , LunarPages , etc) were offering below 400MB, and now MidPhases offers 1500 MB space for the Mega-Phase plan and 50GB monthly transfer.  And for the Xtra Phase and Pro Phase plan, 1700MB, 1900 MB and 55GB, 65 GB respectively. The special offers from MidPhase includes free 30 day hosting, 250 to unlimited sub-domain, and money back guarantee.

Comparison With Others

Compare to other top hosting plans, Mid-Phase appears to have no-less or more features and larger in quantity. The most similar ones are iPowerWeb and StartLogic , they all offer free domain, shopping cart, anonymous FTP, shared SSL, toll-free support, but midphase offers more space and bandwidth. MidPhase offers unlimited MySQL ( iPowerWeb offers 3, StartLogic unlimted), and unlimited FTP account. Midphase also offers unlimted subdomain, which iPowerweb and StartLogic do not support. BUt you should keep in mind that unlimited is just a marketing term, nothing is unlimted. Also, you may don't need unlimited offers.  Compare with LunarPages , both offers sub-domain, but midPhase offers more (250 to unlimited). actually Midphase offers all the features LunarPages offers except domain pointer in the mega-phase plan. Globat offers more space and bandwidth, but Globatlacks shopping cart, sub-domain, and shares SSL.

Comments

The only concern would be that, midPhase is relatively newer than other top hosts, and there has not been a long record tracking of supporting and uptime history. Our initial testing of MidPhase's customer support is very satisfactory, the online ticket response time and the phone support response are among the top ones. The other disadvantage is that if you sign up for less than a year, you have to pay more, read carfully about the terms and refund policy.
